That is what I love so much about them. As a child, I remember telling my mom, “I think I’m just a people person.” I was making this observation about myself in comparison to my brothers, who were all very creative and hands-on. I always struggled with seeing myself as an artist in comparison to them because I couldn't carve ornate designs into sticks I found in the woods or draw a picture of a medieval castle to save my life, and I wasn't really interested in learning to do those things. I really just wanted to talk to people! But as a teenager, once I got into photography, I became obsessed with reading wedding photographers' blogs. I remember being so captivated by the way the essential parts of two people in love could be distilled into one time, place, and environment. When done with intention, your wedding can embody so much of who you and your partner are. From the people who made you, to the colors, designs, foods, and drinks that ignite your senses, to the ceremony that unites you forever, my goal is to earnestly tell your story in a way that will bring you right back to your wedding day 20 years from now.
